What this site collects

This site does not use advertising trackers, analytics, or third-party fonts. Like any web server, the host (Hostinger) keeps standard technical logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and to keep the site running.

The newsletter

If you join the newsletter, your email address (and your name, if you give it) is stored by the email service MailerLite, which sends the emails on the author’s behalf. You confirm your subscription by email before you’re added (double opt-in). The legal basis is your consent.

Your details are used only to send the newsletter and the bonus scene. They are never sold or shared with anyone else. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask for your data to be deleted at any time by writing to the address above.

Delivering the bonus scene

The bonus scene may be delivered through a book-delivery service such as StoryOrigin or BookFunnel, which handles the download link.

Your rights

If you live in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Write to hello@ashcastellan.com for any of these.
